Your First Visit
What to expect when you come in.
- Does acupuncture hurt?
- Most patients feel little to no discomfort. The needles are extremely fine and are placed with care.
- How long is a visit?
- Initial visits are typically 60–75 minutes; follow-ups are usually 45–60 minutes.
- What should I wear?
- Loose, comfortable clothing is ideal. We can also provide a gown if needed.
- How many sessions will I need?
- This depends on your situation. Your practitioner will discuss a plan with you at your first visit.
- Do you accept insurance?
- PPO, auto accident insurance, health insurance, and student insurance may be accepted. Please call to confirm eligibility and coverage.
